Big Sean, Tyga, & Tinashe Join Alexander Wang's #WangSquad
The #WangSquad is back, but this time it comes with new faces.
After featuring Vic Mensa, ILoveMakonnen, and Travis Scott in its Spring/Summer 2016 campaign, Alexander Wang teams up with a host of new celebs for its Fall 2016 run.
More rappers take center stage this go ’round with A$AP Ferg, Big Sean, Vince Staples, Tyga, and Metro Boomin making appearances. Tinashe stuns in the fast-moving Instagram clip, and so do models Zoe Kravitz and Kylie Jenner.
Polaroids of each personality appear in the new vid, which also includes Ferg’s “Strive” as its soundtrack (via V magazine).
Speaking of the original #WangSquad, Alexander Wang said the campaign was designed to feel authentic.
“The point was to show authenticity behind what they’re wearing,” explained the designer. “They’re the ones really sharing this content first on their own Instagram or wherever, and we wanted it to feel like it was their story, and they felt like what they were wearing captured who they really are. I think that authenticity reads to the audience.”
