DMX Welcomes 15th Child

Congrats are in order for DMX.

On Friday (Aug. 19), the 45-year-old rapper welcomed his 15th child. The baby boy, named Exodus Simmons, weighed 6 lbs. and 10 oz., according to TMZ.

Exodus’ mother is DMX’s longtime girlfriend Desiree. This is her first child.

X wasn’t present for the baby’s birth. However, he reportedly flew from Arizona to New York for Exodus’ first night, calling his 15th child a “blessing.”

It’s been a roller-coaster year for DMX. In February, he was hospitalized after he was found unresponsive in a parking lot. He is currently working on new music with Swizz Beatz and dropped a pair of songs, “Blood Red” and the Styles P-assisted “Still Scratching,” in June.
