Drake Leads BET Hip-Hop Awards 2016 Nominations
The 6 God reigns again. For the third year in a row, Drake leads nominations for the BET Hip-Hop Awards. This time around, Drizzy nabs 14 nods, including Album of the Year, Track of the Year, and MVP of the Year.
Drake’s “Summer Sixteen Tour” partner Future also has a big night ahead of him with 10 nominations, including Album of the Year, Best Mixtape, and the Made-You-Look Award for Best Hip-Hop Style.
DJ Khaled and Kanye West follow Drake and Future with nine and eight nominations, respectively.
The BET Hip-Hop Awards are set to go down Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, but won’t air on television until Oct. 4.
A “big host” for the event will reportedly be announced soon.
