French Montana’s MC4 isn’t ready to be served just yet. The rapper has pushed the long-awaited album back just days before its Friday release.
Montana made the announcement today with a couple of tweets, apologizing for another postponement.
“Due to some sample clearances that are still being worked out, I have to move the album release date,” he tweeted. “I want to apologize to my fans that are waiting. I want to make sure the album is something special.”
It was all good just a couple of weeks ago when French unveiled the album’s 14-song tracklisting, which features a bevy of artists, including Drake, Kanye West, Nas, Jeezy, A$AP Rocky, Kodak Black, and Miguel.
MC4 follows February’s Wave Gods mixtape, which featured songs from MC4, including the Kodak-assisted “Lockjaw” and “Figure It Out” with Nas and Yeezy.
No new release date has been announced.
