Another one.
Now that DJ Khaled’s Major Key is out, fans have been clamoring over the album’s major collaborations. In particular, listeners have been amped about “Ima Be Alright,” which features Bryson Tiller and Future.
Centered around relationships gone sour, “Ima Be Alright” allows Future to discuss a situation that could be about his fallout with Rocko or Ciara.
“We was best friends until the fallout,” he raps. “Now I got the lawyers goin’ all out.”
Tiller handles the hook and a verse, also focused on how those around him are changing. Then, Khaled enters with cloth talk in the form of a major key or two.
“They jealous,” he says. “They want us to fold. That will never happen. They want us broke, so you know what we gonna do? We gonna become billionaires. From now on when you see me, call me Billy. I’ma be alright, I’ma be just fine.”
