Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz to Headline 2nd Annual Lil WeezyAna Fest
Lil WeezyAna Fest is back.
Lil Wayne’s festival returns to New Orleans for the second year on Saturday, Aug. 27, with headliners Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz.
After performing at SXSW and the BET Experience, the duo will bring ColleGrove to Weezy’s hometown for a performance at Bold Sphere Music at Champions Square. The performance comes in support of their joint project ColleGrove, released in March.
Weezy took to Twitter to make the announcement and share the illustrated artwork.

According to NOLA.com, other special guests are expected to appear alongside Wayne and 2 Chainz at the festival.
Last year’s inaugural event, which was held on the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, featured performances from Drake, August Alsina, and the reunion of the Hot Boys.
Tickets for Lil WeezyAna Fest go on sale Friday, July 15, at 10 a.m.
