ScHoolboy Q’s ongoing Blank Face LP visual series continues.
After dropping “By Any Means: Part (1)” last week, Groovy Tony unleashes its sequel, “Tookie Knows II: Part (2).”
“Tookie” picks up where “Means” left off, depicting a pawn shop robbery, a shopping excursion, and a visit from 5-0. “Part (2)” also includes a trip to jail, where Q, Traffic, and TF perform “Tookie Knows II,” the Blank Face LP closer.
Even though this video features the album’s closing cut, there’s no need to worry about the visual series ending there. “Part (3)” is set to follow.
Over the weekend, ScHoolboy Q spoke with Rap-Up TV about the short film/mini-series and how it will slowly reveal what Blank Face, due July 8, is all about.
“Part 2 will be out,” he said. “Then part 3 will be out, and so on and so on. It all ties together. I’m tired of giving away the meaning of albums before they drop. I’ve been doing that every album since 2011. I’m not doing that this time. I want people to get it. I want people to be surprised and I want them to love it.”
