Snoop Dogg Reveals 'Coolaid' Album Cover & Release Date

  /  06.13.2016

Oh yeah! Snoop Dogg is serving up some Coolaid this summer.

The West Coast rap icon has announced a July 1 release date for his first hip-hop album in five years, which features collaborations with Jeremih, Swizz Beatz, Just Blaze, and E-40.

The cover is a throwback to the classic Doggystyle era artwork by Joe Cool. This one features Snoop’s signature dog cartoon in front of a Coolaid stand, selling things like “lingo,” “swag,” and “style” to children.

Earlier this month, Tha Doggfather premiered the Wiz Khalifa-assisted lead single, “Kush Ups,” and debuted another new song, “Fireworks,” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

“Gangsta rap is back,” he said of the follow-up to last year’s Bush.

Snoop is also gearing up to hit the “High Road” with Wiz Khalifa on their summer tour, which kicks off July 20 with special guests Jhené Aiko, Kevin Gates, Casey Veggies, and DJ Drama.
