It’s a new day for Rita Ora.
The singer has officially parted ways with Roc Nation and has reportedly signed a new deal with Warner Music, according to Billboard.
This follows a contentious relationship between Ora and Roc Nation, one that included a lawsuit being filed in December. Ora felt neglected by the label in an “orphaned relationship.”
At the time, Ora’s attorney Howard King said that Jay Z was “gracious” and that he agreed to release her from her five-album deal after only releasing one, 2012’s Ora.
Over the weekend, Ora teased her new deal on Snapchat, posting a photo of paperwork hidden under flower emojis. The caption read: “Contract time!!”
