As promised, Travis Scott delivers new music for his fans just in time for the weekend. The Houston rapper rounds up Young Thug and Quavo for his new single “Pick Up the Phone.” The rap trio trades Auto-Tuned verses, while La Flame shouts his trademark catchphrase: “It’s lit!”
But the Vinylz-produced song almost didn’t see a release this week. According to Travis, his label was supposed to send it to iTunes, but he had to take matters into his own hands.

“THIS SONG WAS SUPPOSE TO GO TO ITUNES BUT LABELS ARE MAKEING THIS MORE COMPLICATED THAN IT ACTUALLY NEED TO BE THIS WAS GONA BE MY SINGLE BUT NOW IM GIVING A WAY FOR THE KIDS,” he explained. “P.S. THEY MIGHT TAKE THIS DOWN CAUSE THEY DONT WANT KIDS TO EAT.”
Travis has been working on his sophomore album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, which will be followed by his third album Astroworld.
