New Music: O.T. Genasis feat. Lil Wayne & T.I. - 'Cut It (Remix)'
It doesn’t look like O.T. Genasis is going to “Cut It” anytime soon, and now Tip and Weezy have joined him. Hot off “Cut It Remix Part One” with Young Thug and Kevin Gates, the Long Beach rapper enlists Lil Wayne and T.I. for “Part Two.”
Weezy uses his verse to address his label conflict. “That Cash Money check is way behind,” he raps. “They need to cut it.” The rhyme adds credence to this week’s report of continued tension within the imprint due to his ongoing legal battle and feud.
Meanwhile, Tip appears on the track following a shooting that took place at his New York concert last night. Although he is not presumed to be involved in the firefight, T.I. was scheduled to headline the event, which has since resulted in Troy Ave being arrested and charged with attempted murder.
