Meek Mill’s house arrest isn’t stopping him from earning major props. Last night, the Philly spitter took home the honors for Top Rap Album at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards.
In a hotly-contested category, Meek’s 2015 album Dreams Worth More Than Money defeated Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly, Dr. Dre’s Compton, Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, and Drake and Future’s What a Time to Be Alive.

As Meek shared the image above to announce his victory, his girlfriend Nicki Minaj celebrated the dub, too. “TOP.RAP.ALBUM Dreams Worth More Than Money,” she wrote.
Maybach Music Group boss Rick Ross also praised his young spitter’s major win with a series of flame emojis.
Another act who walked away with some hardware last night was The Weeknd. Actually, he won “Often,” taking home wins in categories like Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, and Top R&B Song. All in all, he “Earned It” with eight trophies.

Meek didn’t just win an award at the Billboard Music Awards, though. He also released a new slapper, courtesy of Hardo’s “Love Foreal.” Produced by The Mechanics, the two MCs reflect on reality and loyalty.
