Travis Scott Announces Third Album 'Astroworld'

  /  05.17.2016

Travis Scott just opened up the window into his future and it includes two new albums.

Although he has yet to unleash his sophomore LP, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, the Houston rapper has already announced the title of his third studio album—Astroworld.

“The name of my new album after Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight is now called Astroworld,” La Flame told fans during a recent stop on Rihanna’s “ANTI World Tour” (via HipHop-N-More).

The title is an homage to Scott’s hometown of Houston. The city’s local baseball team is the Houston Astros. AstroWorld was also the name of the Six Flags theme park in H-town, which shut down in 2005.

So far, the only album the HARD SUMMER performer has released has been his 2015 debut Rodeo. It spawned the hit “Antidote,” which peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100.
