Three-peat. Fifteen years since her debut, Alicia Keys returned to “Saturday Night Live” as musical guest for the third time.

As part of the Mother’s Day episode, the 15-time Grammy winner and mother of two took the stage to perform her infectious new single “In Common” for the first time ever. Standing at the piano and backed by her band, she belted out the Illangelo-produced song, which is set to appear on her upcoming sixth album, due later this summer.

For the second performance of the evening, A. Keys took it to church with her brand new song “Hallelujah.” Once again positioned at the piano, she belted out the soulful song as her band clapped their hands.

“I’ve been praying, but I’m paying for my sins,” sings Alicia. “Won’t you give me a sign before I lose my mind? … Hallelujah let me in.”

The “SNL” performance is also a lead-up to Keys’ appearance on VH1’s “Dear Mama,” where the songstress will serenade her mom with a remixed, Mother’s Day-themed version of her 2003 single “If I Ain’t Got You.” That show is set to air Sunday, May 8, at 9 p.m. ET on VH1.

Next weekend, “SNL” will welcome back Drake as host and musical guest for the second time.
