The countdown is on. Although he just released Before da Trap: Nights in Tarzana, his Original Hood Bosses collaborative mixtape, Chris Brown’s new solo single is quickly approaching.

Breezy has announced that “Grass Ain’t Greener” will serve as his new single, and it’s set to be available Thursday, May 5. He took to Instagram to reveal the cover art, featuring a fog-filled forest and a person walking down a path.

“I HOPEFULLY WILL HAVE THE ITUNES LINK ON MY BDAY,” Brown said in his announcement post. His 27th birthday is, of course, May 5.

The single is believed to be the first off his upcoming eighth solo album, Heartbreak on a Full Moon, and it could very well be the joint that he teased back in January. At the time, some dubbed it “Other Side.”

“The grass ain’t greener on the other side,” he sings. Listen to the preview below.
