Liam Payne is moving in a new direction. The pop heartthrob, who made his name as a member of One Direction, has left his fellow boy band members behind, at least for his latest track, to team up with Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J.
On Wednesday (Apr. 20), TMZ leaked audio featuring Payne, Wiz, and Juicy vining out on a new track titled “You.” It’s reportedly one of five songs the 1D star worked on with Juicy and TM88 from production team 808 Mafia.
The track isn’t G-rated. Instead, J raps about getting his lady “wetter than ever” and making her sing “like Adele.” There’s even a short “Hello” sample that pops up when he says that. Elsewhere, Wiz rhymes about being a boss with cribs, cars, and more.
Liam doesn’t drops bars, but he has done a little bit of a sing-song rap in the past. Three months ago, Payne released a short clip of that material on Instagram, noting that it was just a “little song” that he wrote “for fun.”
