J Dilla gets gangsta on “Gangsta Boogie,” a new single off the late great’s lost vocal album The Diary, slated to drop this month through Mass Appeal Records.

The Snoop Dogg and Kokane-assisted single features a classic gangsta bounce courtesy of producer Hi-Tek. Meanwhile, Snoop and Kokane deliver those West Coast vibes with the melodic styles they’re famous for.

“Gangsta Boogie” follows “The Sickness,” a Nas-featured single off The Diary, which was originally meant to drop back in 2002. The project, which features production from Madlib, Pete Rock, and Dilla himself, is set to arrive April 15.
