Kanye West's 'The Life of Pablo' Gets Wide Release

  /  04.01.2016

Pablo is everywhere. Despite Kanye West’s promise that The Life of Pablo would remain a TIDAL exclusive forever, the “living” album is now available through other platforms, including Apple Music and Spotify.

In February, Yeezy vowed to go a different route with this project. “My album will never never never be on Apple,” he insisted via Twitter. “And it will never be for sale… You can only get it on TIDAL.”

This is no ordinary release. According to Def Jam, this iteration of Pablo is “a newly updated, remixed, and remastered version.”

Earlier this week, TIDAL said TLOP was streamed a whopping 400 million times globally and that 250 million of those listens came in the album’s first 10 days of availability. It’s also been updated several times on the platform and is reportedly responsible for multiplying the service’s subscriptions.

While the album has a wider release, a physical version of the project is still not available.
