Abel, who recently pulled out of his opening slot on Rihanna’s European “ANTI” tour, reflects on his January 2015 Las Vegas arrest (“Too much tequila, I had too much tequila / They cuffed me like I was single, f*ck it, I’m ’bout to Henny / Thank the Lord didn’t kill me in the elevator / Wasn’t my time”) and his banner year (“Had to kill the pop game, so they know wassup / Now I’m popping back Swift, had to ‘Shake It Off'”), while sharing his struggles with sobriety (“Sobriety is an enemy, I’m sorry mama”).
