Ariana Grande Performs on 'SNL'
Live from New York, it’s Ariana Grande. The pop superstar returned to 30 Rock for the first time since 2014. But this time, she pulled double duty, serving as host and musical guest. In addition to delivering laughs with her hilarious Rihanna, Britney Spears, and Celine Dion vocal impressions, she performed two songs from her upcoming album Dangerous Woman, due May 20.
Following a botched introduction from Larry David, she put forth a winning performance of her new single, which is also the title track from the album. Backed by her band, she showed off her powerful pipes while belting out the empowering number.
Multiple wardrobe changes and sketches later, she returned to the stage to debut her brand new song “Be Alright” (and this time, Larry David got her name right). Donning all black, she performed choreographed moves accompanied by a team of male dancers.
“You know that we gon’ be alright,” sings Ariana on the uptempo dance track.
In addition to the aforementioned songs, Dangerous Woman features a collaboration with Lil Wayne called “Let Me Love You.”
