Chris Brown and Karrueche Reignite Feud
Chris Brown is sparking an old fame. The R&B superstar and his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran exchanged messages through Instagram on Friday (Mar. 11), and they weren’t exactly trying to rekindle their romance.
“I wish u the most successful career ever,” Brown said in a since-deleted IG caption. “But I promise you this, once this ‘TALENT’ you have starts to simmer, so will everyone else including [Manager] Jacob [York]. all of your famous friends know u how?”
He continued by dissing A Weekend with the Family actress’ current career moves. “So to end this petty game, that’s gonna allow u to book more club appearances and ‘MOVIES’ that go straight to DVD,” he wrote. “I’ll leave you this [heart emoji]!”
Karrueche clapped back soon after, referencing her ex’s recently released “Back to Sleep (Remix),” on which he shouts her out. “You’re calling me a bitch yet you’re screaming my name in a song about getting back together?” she wrote in another since-deleted Instagram comment.
“CAN ALL THIS PETTY SHIT STOP,” she added. “IT IS SO UNNECESSARY. You have a beautiful daughter and so much to live for. LIVE YOUR LIFE and be positive. I am so over the drama!”
The model-turned-actress then posted two side-by-side photos of herself and a caption that reads: “okay bye.”
This isn’t the first social media blowout that the couple has had, of course. Last year, after a public breakup that featured a similar back-and-forth, Karrueche told Brown to “man up.” He responded via social media with a lengthy comment, saying she needs to stop speaking about him.
Brown is also coming off another public feud on social media. Earlier this week, he threatened his “Deuces” collaborator Kevin McCall after McCall asked to meet with him to “handle this business.” “Keep fucking wit me and you won’t be able to walk let alone sing again,” he told the singer-songwriter.
