Video: DeJ Loaf - 'Desire'
DeJ Loaf is unstoppable. Nine months after releasing her EP #AndSeeThatsTheThing, the Detroit rapper debuts a video for “Desire,” one of six tracks off the project. Dressed in a fur-lined jacket, Louis Vuitton scarf, and Timbs, DeJ looks out over a lake and walks a leaf-covered street as she reflects on her dreams, life, and family. The clip is also interspersed with footage of her on stage with Big Sean.
“A song I whipped up in the studio in such short time. A song where I had a lot on my mind/chest and wanted to get it off. So much to say! Sat in the studio with IzzeTheProducer as he played beats.. and picked this one to be cued up,” DeJ told Complex. “And went in to express myself. ‘I can’t hold back, I live life, go and get everything that I desire.’ Meaning to me no matter what I’m going to get it and I won’t be stopped!”
