Cam’ron is taking it back to ’98 in a never-before-heard freestyle released by Tim Westwood.
The throwback features some of Killa Cam’s rhymes from his debut album Confessions of Fire. For instance, a portion of the somber “Prophecy” appears in the clip as Cam honors the late rapper Bloodshed. “I ain’t bleeding,” he spits. “But I got Blood on my arm.”
Cam’s verse off Charli Baltimore’s “R.I.T.Z.” also appears in this freestyle. In the rhyme, the Dipset MC gets serious about losing a daughter and once again pays tribute to his former Children of the Corn partner-in-rhyme. “That’s my analysis,” he raps. “‘Til I’m laid up with Blood like dialysis.”
Westwood is making a habit out of these throwback freebies. Last month, he did the same with Kanye West and Snoop Dogg.
