Watch DJ Khaled's Inspirational Interview with Ellen

Ellen DeGeneres wants the keys to success. The comedienne and host welcomed DJ Khaled to her show on Tuesday (Mar. 8) for the first time. The “hip-hop Quincy Jones” introduced himself to those who are unfamiliar and discussed his management deal with Jay Z’s Roc Nation, staying positive, and his recent Snapchat fame.

“They never wanted me on the ‘Ellen Show’ and look at me, I’m on the ‘Ellen Show,'” said a grateful Khaled. “And this the No. 1 show. Mama, I made it!”

To celebrate his appearance on the program, Ellen gifted the Snapchat king with a T-shirt that featured the key emoji and her own face all over it. She also gave him a brand new chain that reads “Ellen the Best.”

Khaled’s appearance on “Ellen” follows another high-profile interview with “Nightline” last month.
