Video: Alessia Cara - 'Wild Things'
Alessia Cara’s breakout hit “Here” propelled her to stardom, and now she’s ready for the next chapter. The 19-year-old Canadian marches to the beat of her own drum once again in the carefree video for “Wild Things” off her debut album Know-It-All.
In the unapologetic clip, she gathers her fellow rebels and together they live by their own rules. They get matching hand-drawn tattoos, don animal masks while crashing at someone’s house, and ride in shopping carts through the parking lot. The fun-filled day ends as they set off fireworks on the beach.
“To me, where the wild things are is a place that exists in our minds,” explains Cara. “It’s a place of liberty, shamelessness. It can take a split second or a lifetime to find it, but once you do, you’ll be free.”
Alessia will bring her “Know-It-All” tour to Europe, starting March 21 in Amsterdam.
