Fetty Wap is granting wishes. The “Trap Queen” rapper, who lost his eye at a young age, did just that last week when he met a young fan that he inspired.
Jayden Burgos, an 11-year-old who lost his eye due to retinoblastoma as an infant, said Fetty motivated him to remove his prothetic eye after he saw the Remy Boy without a prosthesis.
The two met backstage at Wap’s “Monster Outbreak Energy Tour” stop in Denver, a meeting that also struck Fetty.
“I’m happy I got to meet Jayden and his family,” the rapper told PEOPLE. “He is a really cool kid! It meant a lot to me personally to finally make his wish happen. It’s definitely a day we’ll both remember!”
Fetty has also been in the news of late for other reasons. He reportedly made peace with Masika Kalysha and spent $20,000 on baby items for their upcoming child.
Last month, Fetty also landed on Forbes‘ Cash Princes list. He is now reportedly working on the follow-up to his self-titled debut album.
