Fat Joe and Remy Ma Reveal Joint Album Title
Fat Joe and Remy Ma are back with a Pablo Escobar ultimatum. After announcing plans for a joint album last month, Joey Crack has revealed the project’s title.
“The name of the album is called Plata o Plomo,” Joe told N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s “Drink Champs” podcast. “Money or bullets. You know what I’m saying? However you want it.”
Fans of Netflix’s “Narcos” will realize that the title features a quote from famed Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, whose life was portrayed in the series. His quote, “plata o plomo,” translates to “money or bullets.”

Don Cartagena also confirmed that Plata o Plomo, which was recorded in Miami and New York, will be an independent release. The album’s first single, “All the Way Up,” features French Montana.
