Adele Performs 'When We Were Young' at BRIT Awards

  /  02.24.2016

It was just like a movie. Adele reigned supreme at the BRIT Awards on Wednesday (Feb. 24), taking home four wins throughout the night and then closing out the show with a stunning performance of “When We Were Young.”

Taking the stage in a shimmering red and gold long-sleeved dress, the British powerhouse delivered yet another stirring performance of her 25 single. Meanwhile, a colorful video played behind her that looked like it was shot in Yayoi Kusama’s “Infinity Mirrored Room.”

Of course, this follows a much-discussed glitchy Grammy showing where mics fell on a piano, disrupting her “All I Ask” performance.

“I was embarrassed,” she later told Ellen DeGeneres. “I cried pretty much all day yesterday. But in fairness, I would have cried if it went really well…I always cry.”
