The 6 God has the key. On Thursday (Feb. 12), Toronto’s Mayor John Tory presented Drake with the Key to the City in the rapper’s hometown.
“This is one of the greatest moments of my life, if not the greatest,” Drizzy said. “We have something extremely special in this place. I will never stop loving this city. I will never stop representing this city.”
The key ceremony took place just before the “Summer Sixteen” MC coached his team to victory over Kevin Hart’s squad in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.
“If we’re talking city versus city, it’s been a tough year for you,” Drizzy told the Ride Along 2 star. Some felt that was yet another jab at another Philly star: Drake’s foe, Meek Mill.

The OVO boss isn’t done with this weekend’s NBA festivities. The Toronto Raptors’ Global Ambassador will be in charge of the All-Star Game player intros on Sunday.
“I got my little special twist that I put on it,” he said in a video released by the league. “So I encourage you to tune in early. I’ll see you then.”
The NBA All-Star Game will air Sunday at 8:30 p.m. ET on TNT.
