The 6 God is up to something. Just in time for NBA All-Star Weekend, Drake has plastered ads throughout his hometown to promote his upcoming album Views From the 6.
“The #6god just landed,” T-Dot’s Billy Bishop Airport tweeted Tuesday (Feb. 9), unveiling its Drake ads. “Welcome home.”
The 29-year-old rapper shared another Views billboard erected outside the Air Canada Centre, where the All-Star Game is set to take place this weekend. The ad, which shows bug eyes inside the word “Views,” was reportedly designed by New York graphic artist Filip Pagowski, known for his work with Comme des Garçons. He also designed the artwork for “Summer Sixteen.”
Drake, who won’t be performing at Monday’s Grammys, will also take part in this weekend’s All-Star festivities. He is set to face off against Kevin Hart as a coach at the Celebrity Game on Friday (Feb. 12).
His highly-anticipated album Views From the 6 is due in April featuring the single “Summer Sixteen,” which debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100.
