Jay Electronica Disses 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar in Periscope Rant
Jay Electronica is not holding his tongue. The New Orleans MC’s diss-filled Periscope session leaked on YouTube Friday (Feb. 5) and it features a slew of shots aimed at some of today’s prominent rappers including 50 Cent and Kendrick Lamar.
“[50] was a good rapper,” said the Roc Nation signee. “Right now, he got the potential to be a rapper, but he’s on some sucka shit and we will slap his fu**ing eyeballs loose. We’ll slap 50 Cent’s fu**ing eyeballs loose out of his scalp.”
Elsewhere in the vid, Electronica called his “Control” collaborator Kendrick Lamar his “son” and said he doesn’t like most of the Top Dawg rapper’s music.
“I like the one Kendrick song with Gunplay called ‘Cartoon & Cereal,’” he said. “Other than that, we don’t know what that ni**a talkin’ ’bout.”
It wasn’t all negative. Electronica also defended K-Dot shortly after. “You can’t say, ‘f**k Kendrick,'” he explained, “That’s still our brother.”

On Drake: “Drake is a Toronto ni**a. We f**k with Toronto. Drake grew up in a neighborhood with a Hebrew school and all that. He had a bar mitzvah and all that, but we f**k with Drake because he makes good music.”
