Lil Wayne and Birdman may have reunited, but the legal battle isn’t over.
While it appears that they made amends, Weezy is pushing forward with his $51 million lawsuit. According to Young Money sources (via TMZ), Wayne isn’t easing up on his demands either. He still wants Cash Money to release Tha Carter V and pay him the millions that Birdman owes him.
Earlier in the week, Birdman and Wayne shared the stage at LIV nightclub in Miami. “This my motherfuckin’ son and I’ma die for him, I’ma live for him, and I’ll motherfuckin’ kill for him, ya heard me?” Birdman told the crowd. “That ain’t gon’ never change. It’s YMCMB for life.”
TMZ claims that Birdman was attempting to repair the personal relationship before dealing with the business side.
But there may still be hope for a reconciliation. Just last night, the two hit the studio with Yo Gotti. Birdman posted the photo on Instagram with the caption: “Studio flow #yo Gotti #YMCMB4LIFE #richgang.”
