David Bowie died Sunday after an 18-month battle with cancer. He was 69. The rock legend had a profound impact on today’s artists, who took to social media to remember “The Man Who Fell to Earth” as an innovator and game changer. Kanye West called Bowie “one of my most important inspirations,” Justin Timberlake praised him as “a genius for the ages and the ages to come,” and Diddy credited Bowie for giving him the courage to reinvent himself.
