Kanye West has won Grammys, VMAs, and BET Awards, and now he can add another accolade to his résumé. The rapper-turned-designer took home the 2015 Shoe of the Year award for his adidas Yeezy Boost 350 at the Footwear News 29th Annual Achievement Awards. And of course, he delivered an epic acceptance speech.

“I’m waiting on my son to arrive any day now,” he told the crowd on Wednesday night in New York. “I look at my daughter and I look at my wife and she’s rich and I don’t plan on being broke.”

During his 20 minutes at the podium, he joked about his headline-making rant at the MTV Video Music Awards, in which he announced his 2020 bid for president. “If you don’t like 10-minute, profanity-ridden speeches that end with a presidential bid, you can go to the bathroom,” he said.

He also gushed over his two-year-old daughter, North West. “She might not be making sentences but she’s bringing so much joy,” he said. “I know she’s going to grow up to be amazing.”

His pregnant wife Kim Kardashian was at home cheering him on. “So well deserved!!!! Congrats babe on winning Shoe of the Year Award! I see how hard you work and how meaningful this award is!” she told her husband.
