Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert Are Engaged

Teyana Taylor is going to be a mom, and now a wife. The singer and her boyfriend, Iman Shumpert, are engaged.

The Cleveland Cavaliers guard got down on one knee and proposed during their baby shower on Saturday. While celebrating at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland, Shumpert asked Taylor to marry him and she said yes.

She showed off the ruby engagement ring on Instagram. “Thank You @imanshumpert for putting the color back in my life! I love you so much,” said Taylor.

In September, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child, a girl named Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr. The baby is due on Jan. 16, 2016.

“I couldn’t be more happy than to share my first child with the woman I intended to have my family with,” said Shumpert. “Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr is expected to enter this world 1.16.16. We want that world to be as pure as possible for her.”
