New Music: CeeLo Green - 'Mother May I'

CeeLo Green continues to share new singles from his forthcoming album Heart Blanche. After “Robin Williams,” “Sign of the Times,” and “Music to My Soul,” the R&B crooner gives us “Mother May I.” Produced by Mark Ronson, it’s yet another slice of buttery neo-soul, with organ riffs and shimmering strings.

“I got one chance darling, to do whatever it is I’m supposed to do,” croons Green. “Please make sure I come back home with you.”

In between releasing his album on Nov. 6, CeeLo is planning a wedding. The crooner is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Shani James, who he proposed to about a year ago.
