Fetty Wap Returns to the Stage at Powerhouse

  /  10.23.2015

Fetty Wap made a royal return to the stage at Power 105.1’s Powerhouse 2015. For the first time since his motorcycle accident last month, the New Jersey rapper performed for the crowd at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Thursday.

After literally being carried out in a gold throne, he delivered a set full of hits including “Trap Queen,” “679,” “Mine Again,” and “My Way,” while seated in his throne with a Louis Vuitton blanket draped over his braced leg.

French Montana also surprised the Brooklyn crowd by jumping on stage to join Fetty for “Ain’t Worried About Nothin” and “Off the Rip.” The two will release their joint mixtape Coke Zoo next month.

Fetty, who is nominated for two American Music Awards, canceled several shows and his performance at the BET Hip-Hop Awards following his accident, in which he injured his leg.

“Feel crazy not being able to walk but … God bless me to survive that crash,” he wrote on Instagram.

Other Powerhouse performers included Kendrick Lamar, Future, Big Sean, Meek Mill, Rick Ross, and Omarion.
