The Weeknd is earning his endorsements. The “Can’t Feel My Face” crooner stars in a commercial for Apple Music, which aired right after his performance at the VMAs. The two-part ad takes place after the show—we see Abel come off the stage and walk backstage, where he’s greeted by revelers including Travi$ Scott. He seems dazed, and wanders outside to his limo, past a burning car. The driver turns around and reveals himself to be none other than John Travolta.
“I’m driving, but where are we going?” asks the actor, to which The Weeknd responds, “The after-party.”
In the second part, he makes his way through the party, and finds himself able to control the setting and the crowd by adjusting the tunes on his Apple Music playlists. He plays Fetty Wap’s “679” and Future’s “F**k Up Some Commas,” and eventually turns off the sound and finds himself alone in a room.
“It’s all in your head. Create your own party,” reads the screen.
