Mary J. Blige Joins Taylor Swift at L.A. Show
The stars aligned when Taylor Swift’s “1989 World Tour” pulled into L.A.’s Staples Center for her second of five sold-out shows on Saturday night. After bringing out Fetty Wap, The Weeknd, and Ciara in previous cities, the pop sensation was joined on stage by the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul herself, Mary J. Blige.
That was such an amazing experience performing w/ @taylorswift13 at the @STAPLESCenter! Congrats on your historic 1989 Tour!

When @maryjblige absolutely shut down @STAPLESCenter and played not one, but TWO songs. I love her so much. Unreal. pic.twitter.com/cL7Z8G2HNm

The two held hands and dueted on “Doubt” off Mary’s latest album The London Sessions before Blige performed her 2001 hit “Family Affair” as Swift joined in.
“Don’t you think that this amazing woman should take a bow for you tonight?” said Swift to cheers from the crowd.
Swift also brought out “Orange Is the New Black” star Uzo Aduba for a duet of “White Horse,” and performed “Style” as Chris Rock, Matt LeBlanc, and model Sean O’Pry strut down the catwalk.
