Melanie Fiona is back with a bang in the video for “Bite the Bullet,” the first offering from her upcoming third album Awake.
The video, directed by Melanie’s manager Carmen Murray, opens with a stark black-and-white shot of the Canadian songstress wearing a dramatic black hat and a flowing Michael Costello gown. Bullet holes appear in the wall on either side of her—she’s not bothered. She drapes herself in a cloak of bullets and sits down next to Andre “Dre” Harris, the song’s producer, as he plays the drums. Then she grabs a gun and jumps in a bathtub filled with bullets. Love, as they say, is a battlefield.
Awake is due this fall on Title 9 Productions/Primary Wave.
