She’s baaack! Miley Cyrus caused a scene with her performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, and now she’s ready to do it again.

The pop superstar will take over hosting duties for this year’s show. She made the announcement on Twitter, posting a photo of herself in a green alien costume holding a sign that reads: “MTV won’t let me perform, so I’m hosting this year’s VMAs.”

Cyrus and Robin Thicke performed a raunchy medley of “We Can’t Stop,” “Blurred Lines,” and “Give It 2 U” at the 2013 awards, which stirred up plenty of controversy.

“Madonna’s done it. Britney’s done it. Every VMA performance, that’s what you’re looking for; you’re wanting to make history,” she said at the time.

Nominations for the 2015 VMAs will be announced on Apple Music’s Beats 1 on Tuesday, July 21, at 10 a.m. EST.

The show will air live on Sunday, Aug. 30, at 9 p.m. from the Microsoft Theater in L.A.
