Young Thug was arrested in Georgia on Wednesday morning on an outstanding warrant.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the 22-year-old rapper, born Jeffery Lamar Williams, was arrested by U.S. Marshals without incident around 6 a.m. at a residence in Sandy Springs.

“Williams was wanted on an outstanding warrant charging him with terroristic threats stemming from an incident that occurred with the jurisdiction of the Dunwoody police,” said Jim Joyner, spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Thug will be taken to DeKalb County jail for his bond hearing.

There is no further information regarding the original incident that led to his arrest.
