Rick Ross is back behind bars. The Maybach Music mogul was arrested on Wednesday in Fayetteville, Ga., and charged with kidnapping, aggravated battery, and aggravated assault.
According to TMZ, the arrest stemmed from an incident on June 7 involving a confrontation between Ross and a groundskeeper doing work at one of his homes, which was previously owned by Evander Holyfield. He allegedly pistol-whipped the man with a Glock 9MM pistol, causing injury to his jaw, neck, and teeth.
The assault charge is for pistol-whipping, and the kidnapping charge is because the man was allegedly not allowed to leave the house.
Ross was picked up at his house by U.S. Marshals, along with his bodyguard, and arrested without incident.
Just two weeks ago, the 39-year-old rapper was arrested for misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
