The Carters are in business. Lil Wayne and Jay Z have partnered up on a big deal.

While on stage at KMEL’s Summer Jam at Oakland’s Oracle Arena on Saturday, Weezy made the announcement.

“I just signed a deal with my motherfu**in’ idol, Jay Z,” he told the crowd, who cheered with approval.

However, it’s unclear exactly what deal Weezy is referring to. It could be his new partnership with TIDAL. The Young Money boss recently joined the streaming service as a co-owner and released his single “Glory” off the upcoming Free Weezy Album through TIDAL. He will also perform an exclusive TIDAL X show for subscribers.

Wayne is still suing Birdman for $51 million for release from Cash Money Records. Could he be headed to Roc Nation next?

Last year, Pusha T invited him to join the G.O.O.D. Music roster. “@LilTunechi if u wanna drop albums & don’t want your CEO’s rubbing they hands all in your videos, COME TO GOOD MUSIC!!” he tweeted.
