Jennifer Lopez Announces Las Vegas Residency
There’s about to be a new diva in town. Following months of rumors, Jennifer Lopez has officially announced her Las Vegas headlining residency.
The global superstar will take over the AXIS Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino beginning Jan. 20, 2016. The nearly two-hour show will feature her numerous hits, a live band and dancers, extravagant costumes, and state-of-the-art special effects.
“I’ve been preparing for this moment my entire life,” said Lopez. “The show is going to be a multifaceted high energy Jenny from the Block party, mixing all aspects of what my fans and I love—dance, hip-hop, Latin, and pop. It’s going to be the show I’ve always dreamt of creating.”

Tickets for the first 20 performances will go on sale to the public on Saturday, May 16 at 10 a.m. PT. Tickets range in price from $59 to $219, with VIP packages available, including meet and greets.
J.Lo will also return for the final season of “American Idol” in 2016.
