Jay Z Announces 'TIDAL X: Jay-Z B-Sides' Concert

  /  04.29.2015

Jay Z is taking it back for TIDAL. In honor of the streaming service, the hip-hop mogul has announced “TIDAL X: Jaÿ-Z B-Sides,” an exclusive concert for TIDAL members.

Hov will perform selections that have never been or not performed live in a decade during the intimate New York City show on May 13.

TIDAL subscribers can win their way in by creating a TIDAL playlist on Twitter using the hashtag #TIDALXJAYZ. The submission period begins Wednesday, April 29, and ends Friday, May 8.

If you aren’t able to score a ticket, the show will be streamed live on TIDAL.com.

The concert is part of TIDAL X, a program that allows artists to connect with their fans through unique experiences. Earlier this week, J. Cole headlined a show for TIDAL X in New York.

Following the TIDAL backlash, Jay Z defended the company against its critics. “Tidal is doing just fine. We have over 770,000 subs. We have been in business less than one month,” he told his 3.2 million Twitter followers. “We are here for the long haul. Please give us a chance to grow & get better.”
