Fight Night: Jay Z, Rihanna, & Fabolous Attend Roc Nation Sports Throne Boxing

  /  01.10.2015

The Roc was in the building for the debut of Roc Nation Sports throne boxing at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in NYC on Friday (Jan. 9). During the main event, which broadcast live on FOX Sports 1, Roc Nation’s own Dusty “The Beltway Boriqua” Hernandez-Harrison defeated Long Island’s Tommy “The Razor” Rainone for the vacant WBC Continental Americas Welterweight Championship.

Roc Nation’s leading lady Rihanna cheered alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and congratulated bossman Jay Z on a knock-out night.

The fashionista was decked out in a denim coat, but it was Fabolous’ fashion that turned the most heads. The Brooklyn rapper and newest member of the Roc, channeled notorious drug dealer Frank Lucas in a chinchilla hat and coat as he performed “Lituation” and his remix to “Hot Ni**a” inside the ring.

Justine Skye sang the national anthem before the festivities as CC Sabathia, Santigold, Angie Martinez, and Rosie Perez looked on.

Earlier in the day, Roc Nation signed its newest boxing client, Andre Ward.
