New Music: Jaden Smith - 'Blue Ocean’

  /  10.01.2014

Jaden Smith

While Willow Smith is covering King Krule, her 16-year-old brother Jaden flips Justin Timberlake’s “Blue Ocean Floor” on his latest song “Blue Ocean.” The Karate Kid star raps about meeting a girl and her “blow dealer” at Coachella, while Willow adds some soulful vocals onto the seven-minute track.

Jaden is readying the sequel to his 2012 mixtape Cool Tape, but don’t expect to hear this song on there.

“I Think Im Gunna Drop Blue Ocean Tonight Since It Can’t Go On The Album Anyway,” he tweeted.

UPDATE: Jaden has released a second song called “Trophy,” on which he slams the education system.

“Please don’t listen to your teachers / I’m trying to get rid of all the nonsense that they teach us,” he raps.
