After owning the summer with her singles “Fancy” and “Black Widow,” Iggy Azalea is readying a re-release of her debut album The New Classic.
While an official release date has not been announced, the project will arrive later this year featuring six new tracks.
“Shooting the album re pack cover art this week,” tweeted Iggy. “Can’t wait for you guys to hear some new stuff. six new tracks.”
One of the six songs will feature British pop star Ellie Goulding. “Me and ellie goulding have a nice little numberrrr together on there too,” she added.
The New Classic debuted at No. 3 upon its release in April. It has spawned the Rita Ora-assisted single “Black Widow” and the No. 1 hit “Fancy” featuring Charli XCX, which Billboard declared the Song of the Summer.
Iggy can also be heard on Jennifer Lopez’ single “Booty” and is working on a shoe collection with Steve Madden, which will debut next spring.
