The Game is going independent. The Compton rapper has entered a marketing/distribution deal with eOne Music and is readying a new album for September.
Blood Money La Familia will be released on September 16 via Blood Money La Familia/Fifth Amendment Ent./eOne Music. The compilation marks his first commercial release since leaving Interscope Records in 2012.
The first two singles, “Bigger Than Me” and “Or Nah,” will drop this month. The follow-up to 2012’s Jesus Piece will be executive produced by longtime Game associate Cash “Wack” Jones and Stat Quo.
“Blood Money La Familia will be another #1 album,” said Game, who can currently be seen on VH1’s “Married to The Game.”
Alan Grunblatt, President of eOne Music, added, “Game makes music people care about. I’m looking forward to a long and fruitful relationship between him, Cash Jones, and eOne.”
Game had previously been in talks with Cash Money to release his next project.
